Compliance
If you take cards, the network behind the register has rules. We keep you passing.
Retailers, restaurants, auto shops, professional firms, and anyone else in Southern Colorado who takes card payments and has to answer the yearly questionnaire.
PCI expects the systems behind the register to be protected, kept that way, and proven on a schedule. The standard asks for ongoing protection, and so does an audit.
The network. Card systems on their own segment, separated from guest Wi-Fi and the office computers, behind a firewall with traffic inspection and monthly audits.
The computers. Monitored endpoints with threat protection, weekly patching, and logging on anything that touches a card.
The people. Named accounts, a password manager, security awareness training, and access reviews.
The paperwork. Help with the Self-Assessment Questionnaire, and on Command, the evidence organized year-round.
PCI is the standard most small businesses meet by accident one year and miss the next, because the rule requires ongoing upkeep and the setup was a one-time job. Our packages are built for the ongoing part.
We also keep the card network out of the way of everything else. Your front counter keeps working while your back office does its job on a separate segment.
How we work
Reach out during business hours and a person responds within four hours. Usually a lot sooner.
You pay for a package or a scoped project, and that covers the work. No hourly tally, no per-incident invoice.
You own your administrator accounts and your documentation from day one. If you ever hire in-house, the handoff is clean.
Questions we hear
Your processor handles their side. The questionnaire asks about your network, your computers, and your people, and that's the side we take care of.
Yes, in nearly every case. Segmenting the card systems is the single change that shrinks the scope of everything else.
We walk through the questionnaire with you, confirm the controls are still in place, and provide the evidence. It becomes a short meeting rather than a scramble.
Send us a note and a person in Pueblo reads it. Or call (719) 283-3210 and ask for the Service Desk.
